BACKGROUND

 

Our client’s need is for a Chief Network Architect to lead the Network Architecture group.

Group responsibilities include:

 

§         Overall network architecture for delivering our client’s networking product

§         Evaluation of products to be handed to operations for deployment and support

§         Carrier interfaces and relationships

§         Design and support of our client’s Network Operations Center (NOC) infrastructure.

§         Security model for all network technologies

 

Candidate will perform network architecture as well as high level engineering tasks.

POSITION TITLE:       Incident Management Specialist

SKILLS:    The Incident Management Team is rapid response emergency care unit that is the first point of contact for low touch businesses when something does not work as expected, and an escalation point for the service desk for high impact incidents.  Responsibilities include:  rapid engagement of operational and technical expertise; identification of impacted parties; assignment of responsibility for running the incident and mitigating business risk, transparent facilitation of the incident call.  An Incident Management Specialist is expected to do the following with minimal supervision:   Facilitate the resolution of outages and crises across multiple teams.  Assess and ensure that all appropriate groups are working on resolving outages in a timely manner.   Quickly determine the severity of outages in terms of business impact and technical complexity.   Notify, escalate and communicate to senior management the existence and status of outages.  Document the actions and results that take place during service restoration.  Qualifications:  3 – 5  years of experience directly managing application or infrastructure services (or comparable experience).  Excellent verbal communication skills.  Ability to keep cool and perform in a high pressure environment w/ demonstrated ability to make accurate, fast decisions.  Assertive but diplomatic.  Relentless - strong desire to see things through to completion.
